What is a Ticket?
The Social Security Administration (SSA) issue a Ticket to Work to individuals, ages 18 through 64, who are determined to be eligible for or who are receiving cash benefits under the Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) program and/or the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program based on disability or blindness. These Tickets can be used to obtain services and supports from approved service providers (called Employment Networks or ENs) under the Ticket to Work program. If you are interested in working, the Ticket to Work program might be your key to accessing vocational rehabilitation, education, training, and placement services, as well as other services and supports to help you reach your employment goals.
